Andy McKee, Newton Faulkner, Thomas Leeb, Peter Ciluzzi, Stefano Barone, Don Ross, Justin King, Justin Taylor, Eric Roche (RIP), Kelly Valleau, Antoine Dufour and T-Cophony are just a few artists you could sarch up.
As for tunings, you can use DADGAD, DGDGAD, DADDAD, DADF#AD, DGDDAD and the list goes on.
Some songs you could look for are March (Peter Ciluzzi), Drifting (Andy McKee), To The Light (Newton Faulkner), Phunkdified (Justin King), I Will Not Be Fine (Justin Taylor), Antoine Dufour (Spiritual Groove) and Sleepwalker (T-Cophony)

drop d (DADGBE)- most lamb of god and trivium. also, chevelles first album, point #1, most of rammstein's 'mutter', some songs from rammstein's sehnsucht and one or two from 'herzeleid'. i believe behemoth mostly sticks to drop d as well.
drop Db (d-flat) (DbAbDbGbBbEb) system of a down's two newest albums, the song broken hands by lamb of god, the album 'burn the priest' by lamb of god are all in drop-Db.
drop c (CGCFAD)- any of system of a down's first 3 albums. some breaking benjamin, *looks into zune library* some 36 crazyfists- most songs from 'bitterness the star'. also the entirety of 'rosenrot' and 'reise, reise' by rammstein.
drop B (BF#BEG#C#)- most of chevelle's 'wonder what's next' and parts of both this type of thinking and vena sera. i wanna say five finger death punch uses drop B as well. most of slipknot's self-titled album (with the exception of (sic)- thats in drop c)
drop A (just follow the progression, yeah?)- other songs on this type of thinking and vena sera.
switchy bands- sevendust, three days' grace, chevelle and breaking benjamin are some bands that don't really like to keep it in one tuning. sevendust i think goes in the range from drop-Db to drop A. i dont think breaking benjamin goes above drop-d or below drop c, but there may be some in drop-b. three days' grace, i don't listen to very much so i couldnt tell you accurately.
other tunings- double drop-D (DADGBD) lamb of god has a few songs in this tuning- namely 'vigil' and supposedly as the palaces burn, although i find it's easier to play that song in just drop-d.
standard, down one whole step: (DGCFAD) the first song that comes to mind here is 'adam's song' by blink-182. actually, i cant think of any other songs like this, although theres definitely others.
I know about all the dropped and standard ones, yeah
i love the super low ones though, like Drop A#, its so low its transcribed with a bass clef
SO AWESOEM!!1
