I bought a "bullet" strat a few months ago to use as a back-up. It now is my main guitar to use. The neck feels great and the single coils sound just like a Fender should. Best $100 I ever spent. Low-buck guitars rule!!!

10th August 2009. Leo Fender would have been 100 years old today.

I have a 2007 Squier telecaster with a Seymour Duncan Hot Stack pickup in the bridge. Sounds awesome.

I just ebay purchased an 85(ish) squire bullet - tele body strat neck HSS. This thing was immaculate!... Sounds great and chimey and even the humbcker is useable with nice harmonics. Not changing a thing, but where has this thing been for 25 years?!?!

I have the first of the 22-fret Fender Strats --- a JV Squier Contemporary from '82 BEFORE they took "Squier" off the bulb of the headstock, and one from the E-series as well, both black. Great guitars.

ive got two squires and they are better playing than the american or jap strats ive owned, ive got some really top end axes and im always on my squires , i really dont know why 0-)
they both are 90's korean laquered necks , one reminds me of a jeff beck strat as its cream and got a humucker , the other is a red with maple fretboard and a hotrails being put in very soon , the both were £100 each and well worth it ...i owned a jv squire with custom khaler trem andactive emg's but likw we do i sold it , sadly for a mere £220 but thats what i paid for it ....i saw one go for £500 on ebay and heard they fetch up to 800 to 1000 , long live the squire

My Squire Strat is now in Iraq hopefully being played by some soldier missing his axe over there. When my son wound up over there the 1st time a few years ago I didn't want to send an expensive guitar over so I boxed up the Squire and a Boss pedal with some headphones and sent them over. He enjoyed it to pass the time but when he returned I told him just bring back the pedal and leave the guitar. He left it for other soldiers to use. I was really impressed by how good the neck felt and how easy it was to play.
