Comment by Coach A on March 9, 2009 at 3:12pm - I was Lucky(?) enough to half of the tip of two fingers on my right hand, the index and middle, cut off by a meat grinder when I was young.... Oddly enough, the nail regrowth has permitted me to utilize the nails in distinctively different ways. I don't wish this on anyone, but it works for me.

- I love the aggressive tone I get from the thumb pick for finger style metal country or whatever and the fake nails sound very shimmery and allow for very aggressive playing.....percussive stuff
