Who is the better finger picker? Mark Knopfler or Lindsey Buckingham? and their best fingerpicking track
This is a hard decision for me. While I love both their tones equally, well I may sway a little towards Marks way as far as tone is concerned. But I do believe that Lindsey is a better technical player, and also being able to play the banjo earns him some extra points.

I would go with Mark Knopfler I guess. I love the songs Telegraph Road and Roller Girl but he has tons of good ones. My band plays Sultans of Swing and I love playing that song on bass. It has a really fun bass part.

I go with Lindsey... Some of his solo work is undeniably ear twisting. I like Knoph and appreciate his talent but I go wih the Buck.

Love them both as expectional guitar pickers but would have to lean toward Lindsay.
