What is YOUR favorite chord progression? 5 Replies

I'm a firm believer in the "capo method" of teaching NoObs-- if you have C, G, and D in your arsenal, and the ability to change them seamlessly, you can add a capo to the fretboard and change the sou…

No excuses... get up and play! If HE can, YOU can!

When you get discouraged, and we've ALL been there, just think about the adversities faced here, and how you can overcome them with a little persistence! Loved this video!

I use Ultimateguitar.com,About.com music and Dmbtabs .com.(Dave Matthews Stuff) Dude you can pretty much type any band with tab or chords following it and u should get some hits.If not try those places I listed to you and good luck bro. I was away from playing for many years and when i came back i was slow and stiff. most of the knowledge seemed to be in tact but the physical aspects deteriorated but here's the good news. practice practice practice and it comes back/gets better and if you practice a lot it doesn't really take all that long--that is once you learn to play. from what you wrote it sounds like you got it bad like most of us on this forum so i think you'll do fine.

I have been playin on and off for who knows how many years now? I just recently decided to start playin and practicing to get better. Im probably what they would call a novice. It saved my life and I owe it to my soul to learn to play my feelings on this instrument sent from the Great Spirit above. I jam with people and mostly by myself. I sing and play for my family all the time. I just want to get better. I wanna know how to make my girls cry. If theres something wrong with conveying my feelings through the guitar then Im GUILTY! Lock me away and give me an axe! Im new here, so Im just trying to find out who's out there in the same boat Im in. I love playin! Its all I got for my sanity. Its my soul. Later...
