Charlotte, NC-based Guitarist & Vocalist Donnie Christianson blends progressive rock, metal, classic rock, scifi/ambient scapes, techno, trance, funk, and neoclassical to create a melodic brand of instantly recognizable instrumental guitar music.
His guitar influences include Aldo Nova, Rudolf Schenker, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Vinnie Moore, Neil Geraldo and Zack Smith (Scandal). Vocal influences are Steve Perry, Geoff Tate, Doro Pesch, Jon Bon Jovi, and Benny Mardones.
DC Has toured and recorded with Southern Rockers Dukes Nitemare, heavy metal muscle-god Thor, country-rocker vocalist/guitarist Christina Raine, and more.
Donnie has also composed music for film and tv, video games, and animation, with styles ranging from techno to industrial, classical, ambient, and more. You can also find a handful of lo-fi, independent solo projects released throughout the 80’s and 90’s.
