I had a fender prosonic, it really did everything well...had to do child support one month and POOF, gone!
I just ebay purchased an 85(ish) squire bullet - tele body strat neck HSS. This thing was immaculate!... Sounds great and chimey and even the humbcker is useable with nice harmonics. Not changing a thing, but where has this thing been for 25 years?!…
My permanent fixture pedalwise would be a 1988 BK Butler tube driver. I can't get the sparkle from any other distortion pedal. I even gave it away once but it came right back to me!
